Job Description

Are you an experienced Oracle Order and Service Management (OSM) application engineer? We're seeking individuals like you to join our team! As an OSM Software Developer, you'll play a crucial role in implementing and supporting OSM demo use cases, facilitating knowledge transfer sessions to sales representatives, and providing technical support to sales consultants. Join us and be at the forefront of innovative telecommunications demos.

Responsibilities

Implementation, Modification, and Support of OSM Cartridges: Execute tasks related to the implementation, modification, and ongoing support of OSM cartridges to ensure seamless functionality.

Building and Supporting Cloud Native Use Cases: Develop and maintain Cloud Native use cases for our OSM CN solution, contributing to the advancement of our technological capabilities.

Technical Support to Sales Consultants: Offer technical expertise and guidance to sales consultants, aiding in the successful demonstration and promotion of our products and solutions.

Collaboration on Customer Demos and Proof-Of-Concepts (POCs): Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute customer demos and Proof-Of-Concepts, showcasing the effectiveness and suitability of our offerings.

Qualifications:

Passion for Learning New Technologies: Demonstrate a keen interest in staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.

Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle: Possess a solid grasp of software development lifecycle principles and best practices.

Exposure to Automation Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with automation tools, source control systems, and related technologies is desirable.

Excellent Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and information.

Proficiency in Relevant Technologies: Hands-on experience with JAVA, XML, XSLT, XQUERY, WebServices (REST/SOAP), RDBMS, and scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Bash/Shell Scripting is required.

Technical Proficiency: Demonstrable experience with Linux/Unix/Windows operating systems, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CloudLab, GitHub, Maven, NPM, and docker registry is essential.

Familiarity with Monitoring and Logging Tools: Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana is advantageous.

Preferred Skills:

Middleware Experience: Previous experience with Weblogic, Tomcat, JBoss middleware is preferred.

Database Knowledge: Familiarity with Oracle, MySQL, and NoSQL databases is beneficial.

Microservices Experience: Exposure to microservices architecture with Java (Spring, Helidon), NodeJS, and Golang is a plus.

Understanding of TMF REST APIs: Basic comprehension of TMF REST APIs is desirable.

Soft Skills:

Ability to Work Independently and in a Team Environment: Capable of collaborating effectively both independently and within a team setting.

Self-Motivated and Adaptable: Display self-motivation and adaptability to navigate various tasks and challenges.
