From evaluating sales incentive plans to diagnosing sales force training needs, it’s about improving both the quality and quantity of sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

Drive sales go-to-market planning and transformation supporting Global Channel and Alliances sales business (Solution Providers, Distributors, System Integrators, Strategic Outsourcers, Cloud Service Providers) and working closely with the regions, Business Units, and Segments

GTM Transformation: Lead large-scale sales transformation and coverage initiatives in collaboration with external consulting, sales leaders, and internal teams ; Collect & analyze data, develop facts & alternatives and drive consensus on Coverage / productivity optimization programs

Implementation plan: Develop detailed launch plan and drive readiness with regions ; including launch phases, operational readiness, compensation plan design and cascade, rep selection, sales training, communications plan, ongoing change management and process improvements

Investment case: Build business case to highlight investment areas & cost (Headcount, Rebate, MDF, IT enablement etc.), revenue and margin contribution and opex gearing improvement

IOP / Operational plan: Develop and implement growth and profitability improvement initiatives in collaboration with segment and business units for CSG, ISG (Server, Storage) and -aaS offerings

Liaise between sales organization and internal functions to improve business performance and contribute to corporate goals and strategic intent

Identify critical metrics & KPI to monitor business and key initiatives performance ; work with reporting team to develop BI Dashboards

Track and monitor project work plans, including objectives, tasks and time frames to ensure deliverables are completed on time

Drive deep integration with key program stakeholders, understand business & program objectives, assess impact on metrics

Works cross-functionally and establishes / maintains internal relationships (channel sales, segment sales strategy & planning, finance, marketing, product group)

Essential Requirements

8-10 years of prior work experience in Sales Strategy, Planning, Transformation and / or Finance background

MBA strongly preferred with a strong analytical background and business acumen

Strong leadership skills, capable of leading direct & virtual teams across multiple cultures, geographies, and personality types

Collaborative and inclusive team player that can work cross functionally to facilitate processes.

Strong communication & PowerPoint skills to engage with senior executives and partner leadership teams

Knowledge of Channel business with strong interest in technology

High sense of urgency, strong attention to detail, excellent follow-up, ability to set own agenda & workload

Must be able to work in fast paced, dynamic environment, with changing priorities

Advanced problem solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues; advanced change management skills;

Excellent written/ visual communications and presentation skills with attention to detail

Advanced analytical skills with structured approach and experience in Problem solving

Proficient with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Word, and Power Point required

Strong project management and stakeholder management skills required

Demonstrated excellence in handling ambiguity, working in multi-disciplinary teams, having a ‘can-do’ attitude and strong desire to learn & develop
