Responsibilities :

  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on elevator systems to identify and resolve technical issues. Utilize specialized tools and equipment to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system problems

  • Modernization Projects: Participate in elevator modernization projects, including the upgrade or replacement of components to enhance performance, energy efficiency, and safety. Collaborate with project teams to ensure the smooth execution of modernization plans

  • Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety codes, regulations, and industry standards during troubleshooting and modernization activities. Identify and rectify safety hazards promptly and report any non-compliance to the appropriate authorities

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of troubleshooting activities, repairs, and modernization projects. Prepare detailed reports and documentation to track the status and condition of elevators under your responsibility

  • Customer Service: Interact with clients, building owners, and occupants in a professional and customer-oriented manner. Address their concerns, provide guidance on elevator usage during maintenance or modernization, and ensure their satisfaction with the service provided

  • Training and Mentoring: Provide training and guidance to junior technicians or apprentices involved in troubleshooting, maintenance, or modernization activities. Share your expertise and knowledge to foster a skilled and competent workforce

  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest technological advancements, industry best practices, and regulatory changes related to elevator maintenance and modernization. Attend relevant training sessions and professional development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

We are looking for:

  • High Diploma or above in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field

  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and repair of elevator systems, with a focus on lifts under maintenance or modernization

  • Strong technical knowledge of elevator components, electrical systems, and control systems

  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues in elevator systems

  • Familiarity with safety codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant to elevator maintenance and modernization

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
