Role Title: Senior Project Manager, EMEA and Canada - 12 Month FTC

Travel: 20% international

Hologic is a global medical device manufacturing business across Breast & Skeletal Health, Diagnostics (molecular and cytology) and GYN Surgical.

As the Senior Project Manager you will be a key member of the Commercial PMO group, you will bring your solid experience of Project Management and understanding of best practices to successfully lead the delivery of various Commercialisation projects such as New Product Introductions (NPI), Go To Market, Sustaining and Operational for the EMEAC Region, in collaboration with global project teams. Your strong communication and stakeholder management skills enable effective cross functional collaboration across Hologic, leading teams from Marketing, Sales, Clinical Applications, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, IT, finance and Technical groups amongst others. With your strong organisation skills, an ability to see the bigger picture and be comfortable with the detail, you will lead efforts for accurate and timely reporting of information of projects across the portfolio for EMEAC and drive continuous improvement for the PMO organization.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Lead NPI/ Product launches and other business critical and/or revenue generating efforts.

  • Ensure Regional teams are formed and establish the Project Charter, leading robust planning through successful kick off and execution with your cross functional teams, ensuring projects are managed robustly, with all risks and issues being highlighted and managed appropriately.

  • Facilitate and follow a stage gate process for new product launches or end of life for Medical Device or Diagnostics products, identifying risks, recommending, and implementing process improvements.

  • Lead and facilitate effective bridges between global and regional teams, ensuring strong communication links and teamwork at the project level.

  • Ensure PMO leadership is kept appraised of all project/portfolio related issues and drive alignment and decision making within the leadership structure.

  • Coordinate and lead Project and Executive Steering Committee meetings as needed.

  • Prepare and present program status, provide escalation communications as needed.

  • Establish and maintain KPI’s and dashboards supporting ongoing improvement.

  • Forecasting, managing and reporting on project budgets to support decision making.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Significant experience in Project Management, in Medical Devices or Pharma

  • Experience in Marketing/ Commercial roles

  • BSc Degree in Science, Engineering, or BA in Marketing, Business, MBA or equivalent is a plus

  • Project Management Qualifications (or must demonstrate equivalent experience)

  • Action oriented, with a proven track record of effectively driving the commercialization of new products and other revenue-producing initiatives

  • Well-versed and demonstrated record of successfully leading projects in a matrixed organization, building strong collaboration while managing stakeholders and teams

  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and resolve product and project risks

  • Experience with ISO and FDA quality systems regulations and medical device design and development cycles is ideal

  • High degree of competency in Microsoft Suite, including MS Project and an experience of PMO enterprise tools is a must. Experience of other methodologies/ tools is a plus

  • Must have previous experience of working in matrixed organisations and with a range of technical and non-technical functions- globally and regionally

  • Fluent in English with the ability to understand multicultural differences in regions
