Job Description:

Responsible for conducting detailed analysis of financial statements and reports, auditing financial practices to ensure compliance with regulations, and providing insights to optimize financial performance in the assigned region. Job duties

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data to identify trends, perform variance analysis, and assist to prepare monthly and annual reports. Add value in the analysis of regional tax regulations related to the medical device sector and proficiency in managing cross-border VAT compliance within the European Union. Non-France based Payroll: Provide analysis and instruction to local payroll offices.

  • Account Reconciliation: Ensure accuracy of financial statements through regular account reconciliation, including bank statements, assets, and liabilities.

  • Compliance and Auditing: Monitor financial transactions for compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Assist in internal and external auditing processes.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within financial operations to increase efficiency and accuracy. Facilitate process descriptions in compliance with J-SOX requirements.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, mainly with FP&A team, to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

  • Typical duties agreed between cross-functional management include, but are not limited to:

  • FP&A Projects

  • Monthly Sales Reporting

  • Commission Reporting

  • Month End accruals

  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by management to support strategic decisions.

  • Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited business school.

  2. A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.

  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  4. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  5. Knowledge of SAP is essential.

  6. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

  7. Strong English language skills.

  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  9. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and deadline.

Desired Qualifications

  1. ­CPA or CMA.

  2. French Accounting Degree.
