American Family Insurance - Corporate Associate Claims Customer Care Center Representative in Madison, Wisconsin

Provide customer experience by managing phone and digital interactions on our claims and assisting with immediate needs.

Primary Accountabilities

  • We review and apply coverage, assign services, interpret estimates and adjuster notes, and process payments.

  • Demonstrate experience resolving issues and requests by phone, email, and chat, which includes adhering to a schedule and servicing customer claims.

  • Handle interactions via inbound calls, outbound calls, and digitally.

  • You will have responsibilities with multiple lines of business across the enterprise.

  • You will solve customers problems.

  • Identify and gather necessary information to process claims and achieve our goals.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal/external customers and partners.

  • Utilize claim systems and other applications necessary to complete job tasks.

  • You will be on a team of about 6-8 individuals.

  • This is a call center environment where you will spend 90% of your day on the phone with customers & follow a schedule of statuses that may change daily depending on our needs.

Specialized Knowledge Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-oriented solutions or support.

  • Review and apply coverage, assign services, interpret estimates and adjuster notes, and process payments.

  • Demonstrated experience handling interactions via inbound calls, outbound calls, and digitally.

In this primarily home-based role, you will spend 80% (4+ days per week) working from home. On occasion you may be asked to travel to an office location for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training, and culture events.

Compensation: $23.00 / hour
