S&P Global M&A Project Manager in Virtual, District Of Columbia
Grade: 11 (relevant for internal applicants only)
The Location: United States, this candidate ideally will be based near an S&P office and report in on a hybrid work schedule

The Team/Impact:
The Finance PMO is looking for an experienced project manager to coordinate the planning and execution of S&P Global, Inc. mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Key responsibilities include working with Division, Technology and Corporate Function stakeholders through the pre-merger, post-merger day one to one hundred, and post-merger integration phases to develop a holistic plan and provide regular status updates on progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Previous experience :
Proven track record of successful project/program delivery (7+ years in program/project management)
Proven ability to build consensus and bring people together to achieve common goals
Previous experience in managing merger, acquisition, and divestitures
Comfortable presenting, facilitating discussions with senior/executive stakeholders
Focused on enhancing program/project management skills through training/certifications
Using tools such as Smartsheet, Azure Dev Ops (ADO) knowledge is preferred
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist with the oversight of S&P Global, Inc. M&As / Divestitures from due diligence to post-merger integration
Ensure plans are in place for pre-merger, post-merger day one to one hundred, and post-merger integration phases including clear key performance indicators (KPIs)
Coordinate planning activities with S&P Division, Technology, and Corporate Functions to develop a holistic M&A / Divestiture project schedule
Lead risk identification and management discussions and coordinates risk mitigation plans
Organize and manage stakeholder engagement and drive focused program participation and accountability
Communicate status and health to Division, Technology and Corporate Function leaders at different levels of interest and project influence
Manage cross project dependencies
Help coordinate project change control and organizational change management activities
Assist with the identification, confirmation, and reporting of synergy targets
Provide regular status updates to key project stakeholders
Develop, use, and promote project management tools and best practices
What We’re Looking For:
An excellent project manager who has proven experience managing merger, acquisition, and divestiture projects
Bachelor’s degree (required) in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. PMP & SAFe certification preferred
You have great communication skills, you can communicate clearly with stakeholders (written and verbal). You know who needs to know what and when
You have ability to effectively highlight and manage risks up and down the project chain
You have experience facilitating large discussions and leading stakeholders to consensus
You are extremely well organized and stay on top of the next steps
You are a self-starter who is Tech Savvy
Having the knowledge of S&P Global, Inc. Divisions, Technology Operations, and Corporate Functions
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $72,300 to $130,725. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
