Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Channel Sales Representative to sell MySQL HeatWave deployed on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and multi-cloud environments .

MySQL Heatwave is one of the most innovative products to be released by Oracle in the past years; This is an opportunity to join a fast growing team selling one of the fastest growing Cloud products within Oracle

As a Channel Sales Representative you will pull partners into Oracle business opportunities and manage third party transactions resulting from the relationship. Identify and develop channel partners committed to selling MySQL HeatWave service. Facilitate joint selling between channel partners and direct sales team. Increase revenue from partner sources and market share through a leverage partnering model. Identify and develop joint "go-to-market" strategies and lead generation opportunities. Provides accurate and timely management information and revenue forecasts. May educate partners in Oracle and MySQL HeatWave commercial practices. Maintains an understanding of Oracle Cloud technology and articulates Oracle propositions to partners and their customers. Manage transaction contracts, business practices, and deal booking issues. Work with marketing to plan marketing events for partners.

Qualifications:

• Qualified candidates have 5+ years of experience successfully selling IT services to organizations ranging from SMBs through Fortune 100.

• Experience with partner business models and alliance development

• Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, with a track record of successful revenue attainment

• Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations

• Demonstrated knowledge of common IT challenges and Cloud database technology solutions

• Knowledge of local market business environment and network of business relations

• Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with customers

• Aggressive, strong organizational skills, and a self-starter

• BA or higher degree and applicable experience preferred

• Language skills: fluent English and local language where applicable (German, Dutch, French, Spanish or one of central European languages)

Responsibilities

Facilitates the development of strategic marketing and new business plans for all assigned partners to meet or exceed assigned business goals. Works with Partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies. Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts to leverage corporate initiatives and to ensure adherence to Alliances and Channel standards. Monitor partners business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase penetration for the strategic partners. Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues.
