Ford Motor Company PCII Release and Catalog Engineering in China

Conduct PCII part release activities in a timely manner to support catalog availability on service parts readiness for JV export programs. Ensure the information communicated between upstream and downstream systems is accurate and punctual. Ensure the PCII release for the full cycle life is accurate and intime, to support the parts catalog accurate for service business and customer satisfaction.

  • Exam information from various origins to determine the needs for service parts. Consult electronic information systems including MMP/PCII、WERS, and Supply Information etc. to ensure the accuracy

  • Examine engineering drawings from various sources to ensure suitability for service and engineering replacement info, make sure to release the right information. Maintain service part information in the several catalog databases used to deliver this info to Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) providers. Also respond dealers' inquiries in time.

  • Communicate with JV service cross team (purchasing, SCM) on parts availability and sourcing confirmation

  • Bachelor’s degree at engineering or vehicle engineering. Minimum 5 years’ work experience within the Auto Industry

  • Previous experience in D&R or related field. Knowledge of Vehicle engineering BOM and engineering Structure

  • Strong understanding of GPDS process, WERS system, Engineering BOM and Engineering Structure, Service BOM and PCII is preferred. Clear understanding of service required parts/level and mapping with CAD data

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English. Self-motivated, Result driven and ability to handle multiple projects
