You are responsible for ensuring that projects are successfully completed on time and on budget. This includes project governance, budget and timeline development, build quality, testing and operational readiness, and the completed project’s readiness to go live.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Drive consistency and quality in the execution of projects using the appropriate methodology and tools

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project-level risks and escalate them to global leads and/ or the program manager when needed

  • Provide project reporting and status updates using scorecards, status reports and monthly review meetings and leading stakeholder meetings

  • Lead budget management, resource planning and utilization

  • Confirm the completion and consistency of projects and their readiness to go live

  • Own the relationship with the external vendors including quality assurance in all phases of project delivery

What you need to know about this position:

Has a strong focus on IT Network Services Performance controls. This role will be responsible for the management and oversight of our infrastructure services improvmeent projects delivery, ensuring they align with our financial goals and strategic objectives. This position plays a crucial role in optimizing the performance, efficiency, and reliability of our IT Network Services.

Work with Network and other MDS teams members to provide roadmap for long term solutions to meet NW strategies and objectives. Execute Programs and Projects using MDLZ delivery methodologies.

Oversee Industry best practices to set, track and improve performance indicators using Data & Analytics, and Work management tools and automation.

Main Responsibilities:

General Responsibilities:

• Manage full life cycle Projects to implement Network infrastructure strategies and services.

• Reviews budgets and expenditure plans to ensure financial health; manages costs related to Network services.

• Design and Implement support and continuous improvement processes that foster Network Service Improvement

• Lead a cultural and mindset shift within the Network team to fully embrace data-driven principles and tools

• Transform financial information into business intelligence through analysis and integration of quantitative and qualitative information

• Define and deploy KPI’s to gauge performance and identify trends and suggest strategies that can impact results

• Promote high visibility of shared contributions to NW goals and Facilitate communication standards and best practices

• Find and champion best creative work management automation ideas and actively moves them into implementation and promote stretch goals and objective analysis, helping the team to unlock efficiency at highest levels

Specific Responsibilities:

•Supports and advise in work and schedule planning and integration for all NW functions.

•Creates or disseminates execution quality standards, or tracking content quality for Network work

•Tracking actual work or progress to NW objectives plan, and identifying and reporting variances, risks and issues

•Supporting and advising on risk identification and management

•Reviewing and assessing work, performance and behaviors as conforming to MDLZ policies and standards, and regulatory, legal requirements

•Providing, tracking or reporting resource usage, and escalating resource collisions and needs

•Maintaining NW Goals progress data, and reporting variance from plans & budgets

•Measure NW impact on MDLZ / CTO objectives, (not NW effort expended, or resources consumed.)

•Understanding the communication needs and priorities of MDLZ BU/CTO’s stakeholders.

•Coordinating organizational change management activities, working closely with MDLZ/CTO change management experts

•Creating or disseminating control and reporting mechanisms, and collecting and reporting control data to leadership

•Management and incorporation of conflicting stakeholder feedback

•Providing clear guidance and actions for stakeholder consideration

•Supporting or providing mentoring and expertise on Communication with stakeholders across multiple channels, synchronously and asynchronously

•Creating or maintaining decision rights and assurance frameworks.

Education / Certifications:

  • Engineering degree in Computer Science or information technology related area

  • Master's degree in information technology, program management or business administration

Job specific requirements:

  • Language: English Advanced (Fluent in written and spoken English)

  • Management experience with staff and line responsibilities

  • Proven experience of managing IT Programs and Projects

  • Experience managing budgets for portfolio project investments

  • Proven ability on leading and delivering complex global projects

  • Management experience with multi-cultural staff and line responsibilities

  • Experience with geographically widely spread team, contractors and suppliers

  • Experience interacting with senior management from business and technology disciplines
