Oracle Compensation & Benefits Consultant 4 in Australia

Job Description

As a member of International C&B team, you will manage and support JAPAC wide compensation programs in collaboration with C&B consultants supporting countries in the region as well as providing advocacy and support for the region as part of global / multi-regional compensation related projects as required. In addition, you may be asked to provide compensation and benefits support to one or more geographic locations from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications : 5+ years of Human Resources experience with a focus on C&B in a multinational company. Preferred Qualifications : A Bachelors degree in a related field.

Key candidate attributes : Strong business acumen. Strong data analysis capabilities, including use of Excel and HCM and other data sources. Experience of C&B survey methodologies. Must be self-directed and able to work independently, as well as in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and effective problem solving ability. Project management skills and ability to manage complex projects with multiple stake holders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

Regional Compensation Program Support (70-80%)

  • Drive and support region wide implementation of global compensation programs such as salary range planning and focal / equity and bonus programs.

  • Design & manage cross-regional programs and provide support for local country implementation, e.g. Inflationary program, graduate starting pay guidelines, global compensation tools etc.

  • Create reports to administer and measure effectiveness of compensation & benefits initiatives.

  • Research and develop compensation recommendations for HR and the business using internal and external market data.

  • Research and propose solutions for ad hoc compensation issues raised by stakeholders with a data driven approach.

  • Lead C&B market surveys and build relationship with survey vendors (Mercer, AON) on best practice approaches, trends, and strategies. Act as a primary lead with the vendors.

  • Develop presentation materials and provide updates to stakeholders and C&B team as programs evolve.

  • Conduct a periodic review of the compensation policies, procedures, communications, and documentations to ensure up-to-date information and relevance.

  • Identify problem areas and provide recommendations for process/tools/program improvement. Perform other duties as assigned.

Geographic Compensation & Benefit Support (20-30%)

For the assigned geographic location(s) -

  • Provide advice and support to HR Business Partners, Talent Advisory teams and other stakeholders on complex compensation issues, including hiring, transfer and retention decisions.

  • Use data and analytics to help inform clients of information and trends to support compensation decision making processes.

  • Manage relationships with benefits providers, participate in renewals processes (including support for business, legal and data privacy related approvals as appropriate) and provide project management to support local HR on changes in benefits or providers. including communications support as required.
