IHG Multi- Skilled Technician - InterContinental Abu Dhabi in United Arab Emirates

We’re searching for a Multi- Skilled Technician who is responsible to perform preventive maintenance, diagnosis and repairs mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC issues in the hotel.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on various hotel equipment and systems.

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues

  • Respond promptly to guest requests for room repairs or maintenance issues

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination

  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance needs

  • Prioritize and address urgent maintenance tasks efficiently

  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment or systems

  • Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations

  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on new technologies and techniques

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.

What We need from you:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role with a 5* hotel

  • Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems

  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods

  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
