InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five star presence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chef De Partie to prepare and make the required food as per the recipe standards

  • Demonstrate and help to maintain the high level of service that consistently exceeds the expectations of our guests

  • Ensure that all operational requirements are identified and will be working along with kitchen helpers including commis chefs, cooks, kitchen attendants and stewards

  • In addition, you will communicate to your Sous Chef any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information and will have to attend & participate in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled

Qualifications

  • Similar experience in international hotel preferably in UAE/ME

  • A good level of spoken English

  • Notable skills & experience in international cuisine

  • The ability to work in a team as well as individually

  • Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced environment

  • Enthusiasm and commitment to the job
