Design To Delivery Inc Project Manager in Virginia Beach, Virginia

Design To Delivery Inc (D2DInc) is a minority-owned, women-owned small business. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, D2DInc provides services to public-sector organizations in the areas of acquisition and procurement support, contract administration and closeout, development and administration of small business outreach programs, training, administrative support, and marketing communications materials. Our customers include civilian and defense federal government agencies.

Design To Delivery Inc (D2DInc) is looking for a Project Manager to support a government customer in Virginia Beach, VA. This person will provide strategic program and project management support for a government customer. The qualified individual will be customer-focused and team-oriented with the ability to work independently.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties to be carried out include, but are not limited to::

  • Assist the government in strategic analysis, planning, execution of solutions, managing scope and schedule for multiple-concurrent development projects.

  • Support all aspects of project development and execution, developing, organizing, and monitoring of both project risks and schedules.

  • Provide the awareness required to identify business best practices to include if tools and/or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) modification or development based on changing requirements and review, modify or compose project and/or program documentation (i.e., reports, plans, or SOP's) to ensure accuracy and relevancy of content.

  • Assist in the establishment and control of technical milestones, resources, short and long range plans, schedules, budgets and costs.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business, engineering, or technical discipline from an accredited university or college.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. May be substituted for three (3) additional years of work experience.

  • Ten (10) years of of professional experience in program/project management. Two (2) years of which provided experience managing business operations tasking in a cleared and sensitive environment.

  • Five (5) years specialized experience performing program/project management in a wide variety of project functions to include:

  • Utilizing MS Project

  • Preparing program and project plans

  • Developing and tracking project budgets

  • Documenting and tracking action items and assessing responses to ensure completion of actions.

  • Demonstrated experience providing assessment of project execution to include cost, schedules and risk Demonstrated experience with project management planning and execution tools.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Ability to interact professionally and collaboratively with others exhibiting decorum and discretion at all times.

  • Individual must be self-motivated, a fast learner and able to complete tasks with minimal direction and supervision

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Must have an active Secret clearance.
