The client is comprised of a Central Office, nine Districts, and five Operations Center facilities. The team facilities have been designed, developed, and implemented to manage traffic operations statewide. Each District and the team relies on a number of field-based Operations Technology (OT) devices to carry out its mission. These OT devices include, but are not limited to, permanent and portable dynamic message signs (DMS), closed circuit television cameras (CCTV), traffic monitoring sensors, fog detection systems, and traffic signals. These devices reside on a dedicated OT network and are integrated with an Advanced Transportation Management System (ATMS) and a Statewide Traffic Signal System (STSS).
