Job Description:

As a Network Administrator specializing in Palo Alto and Juniper systems, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity, security, and optimal performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot network solutions aligned with our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and deploy Palo Alto and Juniper network solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

  • Manage and maintain Palo Alto firewall policies, VPN configurations, and Juniper routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP) to optimize network performance and security.

  • Perform regular monitoring, analysis, and optimization of network traffic and performance using tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and SNMP.

  • Implement and enforce network security policies, including access controls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability assessments.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues, including outages, performance degradation, and security incidents.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with other systems, such as servers, storage, and cloud platforms.

  • Document network configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network administration, particularly related to Palo Alto and Juniper systems.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Administrator, with a focus on Palo Alto and Juniper systems.

  • Strong proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls, including PAN-OS, Panorama, and advanced security features (e.g., App-ID, User-ID, SSL decryption).

  • Extensive experience with Juniper networking devices, including MX Series routers, EX Series switches, and SRX Series firewalls.

  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, VLANs, MPLS, QoS, and VPNs.

  • Proven track record of troubleshooting complex network issues and implementing effective solutions.

  • Industry certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) and Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert (JNCIE) are highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
