Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

  • As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling parts using a variety of tools and equipment within a designated area of the production line.

  • Your role will involve receiving instructions from the Team Lead, reviewing and interpreting assembly instructions, blueprints, verifying specifications, and ensuring all parts are present.

  • You will also be expected to assemble tools and materials, interpret measurements, adjust dimensions to meet specifications, and set and verify parts clearances.

  • You will be assembling industrial vacuum pumps and will need experience utilizing pneumatic driven tools (air screw guns, etc.) and hand tools (mallet, hammer, screw driver, t-handle key sets, etc.)

  • Positions or aligns components for sub-assembly, assembly, manually or using hoist.

  • Additionally, you will troubleshoot test failures, perform necessary repairs, and ensure a clean and safe working environment.

  • You will also be responsible for rejecting non-conforming products, completing quality control forms, reporting product line errors, and replenishing stock.

  • The position offers opportunities for growth, with potential promotion to Team Lead.
