Job summary:

ELS is seeking a Junior Battle Force Tactical Trainer (BFTT) / Advanced Training Domain (ATD) Logistician directly supporting material handling at the Hunting Ingalls Industry (HII) Warehouse, in support of Integrated Training Systems Installation and Sustainment (ITSIS) for the U.S. Navy.  Your role as a Jr. Logistician is critical in supporting U.S. fleet readiness and overall warfighter superiority. Your role supporting the BFTT/ATD directly benefits the U.S. Navy maintaining high states of readiness and availability. 

Description:

The Logistician will: 

  • Support inventory and material handling of ITSIS BFTT and ATD material at the HII warehouse and at the BFTT/ATD lab. 

  • Receive material deliveries as required 

  • Communicate effectively with Program Managers, Production Managers, and Production Lead 

  • Provide Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) and reports to HII 

     

Work Location:  Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA 

Requirements:  

  • Education: High School Diploma

  • Clearance:  DOD Secret

  • Experience: 3 years of any combination of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fork lift operators certificate

  • Understand basic Inventory Management and have accountability of all items received 

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel 

  • Experience working with a NSWC-DD – DNA and/or USN Logistics 

Travel:  N/A 

Work Status:  Full Time, Monday - Friday
