Job Description:

Full-time professional experience working as a Field Engineer with strong Electronic/RF background that installs, maintains, and repairs electronic, mechanical, and/or Submarine/Shipboard sytems.

Preferred Carry on Equipment, Submarine installation experience.

Knowledge of TCP/IP and routing

Ability to evaluate software systems

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Provides technical advice and guidance on RF Theorey, RF Spectrum, and wave propogation.

Troubleshoots a range of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.

Performs a range of technical tasks and provides site support.

Provides advanced solutions to problems and guidance to less experienced field engineers.

Provides advanced training on different types of equipment and infrastructure maintenance.

Prepares and revises drawings for systems, parts or equipment from sketches or marked-up prints.

Provides advice and a range of onsite training for customer support personnel.

Works with Electrical/Mechanical engineers for stress/electrical/mechanical calculations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years of full-time hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or testing of any one major shipboard system/equipment.

Security + and OS certification (Linux)

Active Top Secret Clearance required.
