Paragon Cyber Solutions Application Developer with TS/SCI in Virginia Beach, Virginia

Paragon Cyber Solutions has an immediate opening for those ready for an exciting and dynamic career as a Application Developer to create web applications for a variety of business cases including, but not limited to event scheduling, project tracking, service requests, course registration, and student management.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as web applications developer and programmer

  • Research, development, testing, and integration of the web-based applications in the management of Command data

  • Support development and integration of dashboards, management reporting tools, independent testing, project trackers, and other functions that may require collaboration and reporting capabilities

  • Develop and apply advanced engineering, design methods, and research techniques in the investigation and resolution of complex, advanced system requirements, hardware, software interfaces, and application solutions

  • Responsible for design, development, engineering, integration, and architecture

  • Test, evaluate, and implement new web-based applications

  • Maintain, improve, and enhance existing applications as required

Requirements

  • Ten (10) or more years of documented experience

  • Knowledge in understanding of back end and front-end technologies, version control systems, Application Programming Interface (API), servers, applications, security best practices, data structures and algorithms, user interface (UI) design

  • Knowledge of computer programming principles Knowledge of programming language structures and logic

  • Knowledge of software debugging principles Knowledge of software engineering

  • Knowledge in current error handling techniques

  • Skill in writing code in currently supported programming languages including but not limited to: C#, MVC, .Net, HTML, CSS and Javascript Skill in conducting software debugging

  • Ability to use and understand complex mathematical concepts

  • Ability to develop secure software according to secure software deployment methodologies, tools, and practices

  • Ability to manage multiple development projects simultaneously, with the ability to quickly change projects as the importance of priorities changes

  • Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work in a development team, as well as individually

  • Security+ or other IA T Level II certification
