Job Description

Your day at work

Role nominee shall be responsible for carrying out proteomics, metabolomics type experiments to demonstrate the instrument's, consumable's or overall workflow is fit for intended use.

The work requires constant development in understanding how mass spectrometer work, statistics and data visualization. Good housekeeping and documentation of observations and experimental details are key success factors.

Minimum education and experience requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience and knowledge can substitute.

  • Track record in mass spectrometry and mass spectra interpretation (at least 0.5 year), hands on experience with proteomics or metabolomics is a plus.

  • Digital literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or similar is a must. Ability to process large amounts of data shall be considered as a plus.

  • Knowledge of one ore more of following industry domains: Proteomics, Metabolomics, Environmental, Food, Clinical or Pharma/Biopharma.

  • At least a year laboratory of working experience within one of above mentioned domains.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €21 800,00–€32 675,00.
