Advance Manufacturing Engineer

Position Summary

To coordinate, organize and supervise all production process methods and engineering activities that enable production and supply chain according to lean principle.

This includes sustaining engineer, new product launch processes and continuous improvement activities. The position in responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining production process to drive quality and efficiency and to develop manufacturing plant which improve operations competiveness.

Position Responsibilities

  • Continuous improvement of manufacturing processes on standard product.

  • Improve shop floor productivity and drivers controllable spending reduction.

  • Works with lean principles and improve lean culture in the plant with problem solving approach.

  • Identify and support the best layout for production processes.

  • Leading manufacturing projects from the idea to the execution and implementation with trainings.

  • Drives the digitalization processes.

  • Introduction in manufacturing of new products with new standard works and training for the operators.

  • Develops and implement recommendations for improving efficiency and profitability of plant.

  • Works with organizations within Ingersoll Rand facility to help organize and set manufacturing direction.

  • Long term vision for processes equipment.

  • Support capital planning, request approvals, project timing and implementation.

  • Ensure all equipment meets safety regulations.

  • Coordinate activities with sub-contractors as per need.

  • Guarantee the flow of the production by the right approaches of the material supply chain.

Skill Required

  • Engineering background.

  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing approach.

  • 2/3 years of experience in manufacturing environment.

  • Strong leadership skills to drive engineering principle and process.

  • Very good knowledge of English and Italian languages.

  • Extensive PC skills, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.

  • Requires cross-functional communication at different levels.
