Job Requirements
Your tasks:
· Management of the general ledger team with currently 4 employees
· Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for various companies
in accordance with HGB and US-GAAP
· Determination and documentation of provisions and accruals
· Determination and documentation of inventory accounts, receivables and payables
· Booking and maintenance of fixed assets, loans and leasing contracts
· Reconciling, analysis and evaluation of balance sheet accounts in the context of account reconciliation
· Reporting of results for the period to the parent company
· Executing, analysing and documenting closing postings in accordance with the Internal Controls guidelines
· Integration of new companies into existing financial statements
· Participation in cross-departmental optimisation projects
Work Experience
Your profile:
· Business studies with a focus on accounting / CPA or training as an accountant with additional qualification
as an international accountant IHK
· Several years of professional experience in accounting with an international focus
· Experience in an auditing firm is an advantage
· Several years of management experience are an advantage
· In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting and tax law
· Experience in the preparation of balance sheets in accordance with HGB and US-GAAP
· Experience in working with ERP/reporting systems.
· Very good written and spoken German and English skills,
· Good knowledge of MS Office, especially good Excel skills
· Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
· High level of initiative and affinity for numbers
