Position: SkillBridge Modeling and Simulation Analyst Training Program (STORM)

Location:Vienna, VA

Overview

Seeking an aspiring Operations Research Analyst to learn STORM to perform analysis of US military planning activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • U. S. Citizenship with the ability to secure a Secret clearance
  • The ability to apply critical thinking and formal analytical techniques to produce credible, difference-making analyses

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's or Advanced degree in a STEM discipline (mathematics, physics, operations research, engineering, statistics, computer science, systems engineering, or other related areas)
  • Knowledge, experience, or desire to learn the Synthetic Theater Operations Research Model (STORM) helpful

Training Outcomes

  • Employs campaign models and simulation techniques and/or wargaming to assess a range of problems across the DoD
  • Supports operational planning teams using modeling, simulation and analysis (MSandA) to analyze theater operations
