Required Skills:

  • Experience working in an Agile environment, writing test scripts/scenarios, performing ad-hoc testing, and integration/regression testing.

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement test tools and strategies.

  • Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.

  • Write, implement, and report Test status for system test cases.

  • Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports.

  • Capable of learning complex requirements and following verbal direction/written instruction

  • Serve as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with the Academic community serving international students

  • Familiarity with the State Department exchange visitor program

  • Knowledge of the regulations/policies governing SEVP schools, nonimmigrant

  • students, exchange visitor programs, and exchange visitors

  • In-depth knowledge of SEVIS functionality

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

  • Attend daily stand-up meetings, attend backlog review meetings 1 - 2 times per week, attend sprint ceremonies

  • Track test case and corrected defect results

  • Capable of creating correct test data

  • Complete all tasks in a timely manner, as directed

Education:
