About the role:

Join us as a Talent Acquisition Lead supporting our Global Manufacturing & Supply and Global Quality business functions across the DACH region. In this role, you’ll partner with managers to find great talent across various disciplines – Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and more. You’ll be supported every step of the way with cutting-edge recruiting technology, partners within our RPO network, and be part of a vibrant, collaborative, and global Talent Acquisition community.

How you will contribute:

  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to build a top-tier, qualified workforce, and a strong candidate pipeline.

  • Partner with TA, HR Leadership, and key business leaders in Austria and Germany to ensure current and future strategic TA needs are achieved.

  • Manage the full Talent Acquisition life cycle, including job requisition, sourcing, talent mapping, interview feedback/consultation, pre-offer, and offer negotiation. Meet Service level agreements. Manage process feedback loops. Provide continuous improvements.

  • Lead and/or support projects as part of the long-term strategy of building a best-in-class Global Talent Acquisition organization. Participate in Global TA/HR projects and Communities of Practice as required. Align with cross-functional TA colleagues to deploy talent acquisition programs regionally.

  • Create diverse talent pools for business-critical roles, proactively applying talent sourcing and candidate management tools (HiredScore, Avature).

  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout every stage of the recruitment process

  • Build relationships with external partners, including RPOs (recruitment process outsourcing) and preferred agencies.

  • Achieve an exceptional candidate experience, resulting in a distinctive competitive advantage for Takeda.

  • Ensure compliance with all required legal & compliance regulations and reporting related to Takeda's hiring activities.

  • Actively build our employer brand through events, social media, candidate relationship management and more.

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

  • 6+ years' experience within talent acquisition driving end-to-end recruitment and a strong understanding of the Austrian and German labor markets are required.

  • Business-level language proficiency in German and English is required. Knowledge of Italian would be beneficial.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and communicate complex issues and concepts to various external and internal stakeholders.

  • Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop working relationships at all levels of management.

  • Experience in sourcing and hiring candidates within the pharma/biotech/life sciences industry is strongly preferred.

  • This is a Hybrid role. Some time will be spent at one or more of our locations across Austria and Germany.

A competitive remuneration package with a minimum salary of € 5.222,35 gross per month (full-time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry) - the actual salary depends on your professional experience and qualifications.
