Aerotek Aircraft Inspector in Victorville, California
Pay: $48 - $50 /hr
Contract Position with Boeing in Victorville, CA

Inspect aircraft and engine systems to prepare aircraft for flight
Perform audit/surveillance of all manufacturing and quality assurance processes, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.
Use technical specifications, sketches, manuals, drawings, engineering instructions and FAA forms and publications to inspect work performed.
Inspect to the requirements of airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters and other approved/accepted data.
Apply applicable mathematical calculations to setup and use precision measuring tools, to measure gaps, heights, angles, hole diameters and depths.
Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.
Perform Quality functions such as: Customer/FAA Coordination, Configuration Change Verification, Conformity Inspections, Airworthiness Inspections (including Pre-flight and Post-flights), Corrective Action and Investigations.
First shift - 5:30am - 2:00pm + weekends and OT
Min of 2 years experience with civilian (non military) Aircraft Inspection or Quality Control within an Aerospace Manufacturing environment
Experience with Commercial aircraft ideally B787
Being able to read blueprints, drawings: familiarity with it prior to the training.
Ability to pass complete and pass Boeing training
Job training will be at either the Charleston, SC or Everett, WA training facility and the training is mandatory
Training will be 4-5 weeks and they will be required to stay in the location for the full duration of their training
