EWASTE+ focuses on the recovery of value from idle, obsolete and excess electronic equipment and operates a large-scale processing facility in Victor, New York (near Rochester) and two regional consolidation facilities in Albany and New York City. The company utilizes environmentally sound processing methods that maximize value and recovery while eliminating disposal of electronics in landfills. Description

EWASTE+ is hiring for a Forklift Operator, which is a valuable member of our electronic recycling operation. As a Forklift Operator you will be responsible for keeping material flowing through our various processes, as well as maintaining an accurate inventory within our 103,000 Sq. Ft. Warehouse.

Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 4:00pm in our Victor, NY facility.

Duties include:

Loading electronic equipment on to trailers and containers.

Unloading and staging electronics equipment from incoming box trucks and trailers

Baling materials

Movement and storage of materials

Data entry

Shrink-wrapping, labeling and banding skids of material

Operate company-owned forklifts

Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service

Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures

Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company

Other miscellaneous warehouse tasks maybe required.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00

Position Requirements

Requirements:

Physical requirements: Lifting up to 40-pound objects frequently, climbing ladders, pushing and pulling equipment using a pallet jacks, walking and bending.

Equipment used: Pallet jacks, forklift, scales, balers, dock levelers and dock plates, barcode scanner and computer equipment.

Previous forklift, baling, and yard jockey experience preferred.
