Position Summary

As a Global Project Manager at Nestlé, you will play a pivotal role in driving business transformation initiatives and ensuring the successful delivery of key cross-functional projects and programs for the group. Your responsibilities will include leading large-scale programs from initiation through execution and completion, with a keen focus on delivering value in alignment with Nestlé's strategic objectives and business needs. You will be working together with senior levels of the organization at local, regional, or global level. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing projects that span multiple business units and/or sites in one or more markets.

A Day in the Life of a Global Project Manager

  • Manages transformation initiatives or technology programs within targeted parameters (such as time, budget, scope, quality) and following established Project Management methodologies

  • Takes leadership and accountability for project management tasks throughout the different project phases, from initiation/structuring, through execution and project closure

  • Manages preliminary project activities with sponsors, gathering all the necessary business inputs and requirements to the project scoping, business case elaboration, submissions, and approvals

  • Leads the program team, overseeing all the allocated resources across the zones/functions/businesses.

  • Manages and reports on financials such as project budgets, actuals, forecasts and approvals

  • Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, managing delivery within expectations and tolerances, addressing, and resolving issues and/or following escalation paths as necessary

  • Establishes and leads program governance meetings, incl. operational and decision committees

  • Ensures delivery of project reporting and documentation, incl. accurate status reports to senior leadership and acts as a consultant for business requests

  • Provides coaching to more junior elements of project management community and project teams

What will make you successful

  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or a related field

  • Extensive experience as a Project Manager with a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget

  • Leadership skills and track record in developing people

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices. Project Management certifications, such as PMP or Agile are beneficial

  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Sharp business-sense and result/service-oriented mindset

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
