Position Overview:

Our client company is seeking Inside Service Representatives to join their team at their office in the north Chicago suburbs. As an Inside Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing clear and timely solutions to customer inquiries relating to various refrigerator and HVAC maintenance, including other similar fields of maintenance inquiries.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responds to inquiries received on incoming service lines promptly and effectively.

  • Provides scheduled on-call 24/7 Technical Line support.

  • Provides support for National Accounts projects and ensures follow-up.

  • Provides support for Consumer Products calls and determines actions following Matrix Guidelines.

  • Identifies and documents inquiry sources.

  • Compiles a monthly summary of inquiries, detailing quantity, source, and problem identification.

  • Provides technical assistance and service support for received inquiries.

  • Recognizes and reports major field service problems through the WATS line activity.

  • Assists Installation Coordinator with technical support, contacting agents, and processing invoices.

  • Responds to routine correspondence request for service assistance.

  • Reviews and verifies labor warranty claims for processing.

  • Functions as a field service representative in the field when required.

  • Presents Field Service Meetings (as needed basis).

  • Minimal field work required (as needed basis).

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional travel as necessary.

  • Willingness and ability to work over 40 hours a week as necessary.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to present self professionally in-person and over the phone.

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience with commercial ice machines.

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience.

  • Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Education Certificate, or at least 1 year of equivalent experience.

Preferred Experience:

  • EPA Refrigerant Usage Certification, Types I & II

Compensation:

  • Salary: $60,000-$75,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
