Heartland Psychological Service Receptionist in Vermillion, South Dakota

Must possess the ability, drive, and initiative to work independently 100% of the time in a moderately busy office setting. Must Possess pleasant interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Possess empathy and compassion for a community of clients that are dealing with a variety if mental health needs. Computer literacy related to Microsoft Word and Excel. Confidence and ability to prioritize daily tasks. Possess a skill set that includes the ability to work on several tasks at concurrent times and in an environment with numerous interruptions. Customer service and administrative skills that are conductive with an office setting. Knowledge of EMR and/or cloud-based records management, healthcare administration, and HIPPA compliance are requested but not required.

Assigned job duties: answer the phone, greet clients, schedule appointments, manage document/record requests, update and maintain accurate client files, accept monetary payments, provide general administrative support to mental health therapists, and any additional tasks assigned by the business manager and/or clinical director.

Wage:16$ - 18$/hr
