Job Description Summary

Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Job Description

  • Working in the Composite shop and supporting SPO and Product Engineers.

  • First line contact person with Composite production cell on behalf of Engineering.

Duties may include but not limited to:

  • Air circulating furnace / Autoclave program management, setup and administration, preparation of TECH sheets in regard to program listing and equipment usage instructions.

  • Periodic data capturing and data management of furnaces.

  • Repair development trial supervision on shopfloor, part preparation, verification on trial execution.

  • Under guidance of SPO/Product Engineer may be asked to support trials for equivalency/shelf-life extension.

  • Under guidance of SPO/Product Engineer may be asked to support investigations, perform corrective actions, such as task list modifications and GEESH number assignment to new tools.

  • Composite Tool Management: new tool functionality verification.

  • Training and TECH sheet preparation for critical processes, where gap is observed, training and TECH sheet to be verified by SPO.
