Kuehne+Nagel Information Systems Project Manager in Veghel, Netherlands

As Business Consultant, you will ensure the smooth implementation of our new customers in the field of contract logistics in our system and process environment. These include our Warehouse Management, Transport Management and/or Parcel Carrier systems with associated integration. The full IS landscape to support contract logistics.

To ensure that this remains so, as a consultant in the Information Systems workstream you will ensure the highest quality in the execution of customer projects in the Netherlands. In this responsible and varied position, you can realise your potential within a wide range of projects. With you as reinforcement, we will also be prepared to advance the field of contract logistics in the future.

Your Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Able to autonomously manage the IS project and team.

  • Stakeholder management: Ensuring close and good cooperation with our customers and the internal departments involved.

  • Change management: Supervising change management processes and successful transfer of the systems to the operational areas.

  • Expertise: Able to stand the bridge between operations and the technical application specialists locally and corporate assigned to the projects or sub-projects.

  • Business Development: Support in developing IS concepts, tender documents and calculations in the context of logistics tenders.

  • Project Management: Overall coordination and monitoring of all project phases, including:

  • Ensuring the timely, cost-effective and successful implementation of the IS solutions, development and implementation of the test scenarios and definition of the interface requirements for the customer systems

  • Ensures work allocation, checks and approves the work performed before it can be put into production;

  • Documents, reports and communicates through project reports and maintaining other project documentation.#LI-UK1

Your Skills and Experiences

  • 5 or more years of project management experience in logistics / production environment and excellent command of the

  • English language both verbally and in writing;

  • Blue Yonder experience;

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with modern project management techniques (Agile/SCRUM, Prince 2, PMBoK);

  • Possesses commercial skills, customer-oriented, flexible and pragmatic;

  • Communication skills, stress-resistant and creative;

  • Able to make decisions and ownership by himself (or in consultation) that accelerate and drive project progress;

  • Able to make people work independently in the project to be implemented;

  • Willingness to supervise the project on site at different times in the projects
