ASRC Federal Holding Company Satellite Control Network Site Manager in Vandenberg, California

Agile Decision Sciences, LLC. (ADS), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.

ADS is seeking a Satellite Control Network Site Manager at

Vandenberg Tracking Station (VTS), Vandenberg SFB, CA.

This is in anticipation of favorable award of the Satellite Control Network Tracking Station Operations, Remote Site and Mission Partner Support (STORMS) Task Order providing operations and organizational maintenance for the SCN.

Key Role:

  • Responsible for the overall management of contract related Performance Work Statement (PWS) tasks associated with the Remote Tracking Station (RTS)

  • Management of all operations and maintenance personnel assigned to the RTS

  • Responsible for all operations, maintenance, logistics, Local Area Network (LAN), GPS Monitor Station, Mission Partner Support, administration, communications, security and safety of all personnel assigned

  • Responsible to the USSF Station Commander for all activities and mission support that occur at the station

  • Responsible for the execution of all site-related ancillary and additional duties to include: COMSEC, Tech Orders, Tools, PMEL, GFE/GFP, Safety, Training, etc.

  • Provide support and coordination to the STORMS SOPS Squadron Manager

  • Responsible for all assigned activities at the RTS and will ensure that all personnel follow approved US Space Force and management operational directives

  • Responsible to ensure Configuration Management of all site equipment, hardware/software updates to include downloading of updates and notification of issues.

  • Coordinate maintenance activities to include PDM, UDLM, EDLM or other sustainment activities.

Requirements :

Required Qualifications:

  • Typical education and experience are a college degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or 8-15 years of experience with increasing responsibilities supporting the SCN may be suitable substitute for non-degreed candidates

  • 5 years experience with remote satellite tracking stations and understand satellite command and control elements and functions

  • Satellite tracking station experience that includes operations and maintenance support for non-geostationary constellations

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance, and ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently or previously SCN operations and maintenance qualified/certified

  • Experience at overseas locations is desirable

  • Ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience at an SCN Remote Tracking Station performing operations and maintenance as a Site Manager, Chief of Operations, and/or Chief of Support
