SAIC Training Developer in Vandenberg Air Force Base, California

Description

SAIC seeks an experienced and energetic Training Analyst to directly support the modernization of the space launch ranges, meeting mission requirements, providing range capabilities, and supporting the Digital Transformation and Maintenance Modernization (DTAMM) program. The overarching purpose of the program is to perform system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence to enable the Spaceport of the future. This position is located in Santa Maria, CA .

Job Responsibilities:

· Developing a straining strategy and training plan that will increase internal team and government customer knowledge about the Space Sensing mission systems and their operations

· Developing a role-based training curriculum with content requirements that are tailored to the nature of each group's job responsibilities

· Developing and executing a knowledge transfer approach to tap knowledge from subject matter experts and help distribute it to increase the broader team's overall understanding of these complex missions

· Leveraging multi-media technologies to facilitate training. These will include, but are not limited to, cloud-based applications, presentation slides and posters, videos, and immersive virtual reality technology

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

· Baccalaureate degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent technical discipline and nine (9) years of relevant experience, Master's degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent technical discipline and seven (7) years of relevant experience, or PhD in an engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent technical discipline and four (4) years of relevant experience

· Strong experience with multi-media content creation

· Relevant DoD space system experience

Desired Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

· Masters of Science in engineering, science or related technical field

· Systems engineering and integration related or equivalent experience

· Experience in large Government systems acquisition

· Thorough understanding of OPIR space & ground systems

Clearance:

  • Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance

Target salary range: $95,001 - $105,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
