Job Description Veolia Water Technologies, Inc. (VWT) is currently seeking a Mobile Water Solutions Field Service Specialist for the Dayton, OH office. The overall duty of the Mobile Water Solutions Field Service Specialist is to optimize the utilization of the Process Water Mobile Fleet across the United States. The Field Service Specialist provides Veolia Mobile Water clients with equipment, technical assistance and instruction related to the installation, maintenance and operation of the products and processes we provide. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Manage and supervise subcontractors * Manage and supervise mobilization and demobilization of Mobile Water Projects. * Provide onsite process enhancements to deployed / operating projects. * Provide onsite adjustments to operating parameters of deployed projects * Consult with customers on questions concerning equipment erection requirements and protocol. * Place equipment into operation and instruct users in use and care of equipment * Investigate and correct malfunctions - repair and calibrate when necessary. * Inspect completed installations prior to operation startup. * Report problems and recommend improvements in design or process. * Consult with customers and assist in procurement of spare parts. * When on a customer project site, serve as liaison between customers and Veolia Mobile Water Services office. * Document all activities for use by marketing, engineering, and procurement staff. * Provide feedback to the engineering and project management teams as required capturing field changes to the design. * Ensure that all company, client and project policies, procedures and standards are adhered to. * Assist with the implementation and interpretation of safety programs. * Perform other tasks as directed by the field service manager. * 70% Travel (occasionally to Canada) Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements: * A.S. degree in engineering preferred or compatible work experience may be substituted for degree. * At least five years experience in the water treatment equipment service or closely related discipline. * Technical Knowledge - fundamentals of mechanical engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics. * Membrane technology experience. * Ability to climb a ladder and perform elevated work and in a safe manner * Ability to lift 60 lbs.
