Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Technician, Outpatient works under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician Lead to support the operations of the Pharmacy Services. This position receives prescription requests, enters prescriptions into computer database, prepares medication for dispensing, assists customers/patients at the cash register, works with insurance companies, contacts referring physicians' offices with questions, maintains inventory, profiles prescriptions, etc.
