Actalent Entry Level Civil Engineer in Vancouver, Washington
Description:
Searching for recent civil engineering graduate or civil engineer in early stages of career to join firm that offers civil engineering, land surveying, and site planning services with a main focus in land development and storm water projects for both private developers and public agencies. Firm works on the following project types: 20-400 lot subdivisions, commercial and recreational projects including golf courses, retail, and hospitals. Candidate should have exposure through school or in employment to site development and design including grading, water, sewer, and storm water in Civil3D and Hydrocad. Knowledge of local codes (Washington) and agency standards are preferred but not required. Experience tabulating bid items, calculating construction bid quantities and developing cost estimates is preferred but not required. MS Office experience including Word, Excel and Outlook is required. A passion for engineering with a desire to work full time in office with a highly collaborative team is required. The right candidate should desire to work under leaders who maintain high standards for work product and promote a casual, congenial, and high-paced culture.
