This Electronics Engineer will provide professional engineering expertise across various projects and activities. They'll assist project managers, collaborate with engineering teams, and support field maintenance crews. This involves facilitating the engineering, design, and implementation stages of assigned projects, ensuring successful completion and smooth operations. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA. Draft and prepare training curriculum and materials for the new MREDI Systems' specialized equipment for review, consideration and finalization of appropriate manage; assist with company-approved training to end users. Provide recommendations and advice for appropriate spare parts levels for assigned VHF equipment. Assist supply chain in the management of spare parts for telecommunications equipment including, forwarding status reports, alerts, and corrective action recommendations. Coordinate and verify the placement of any manufacturer/vendor maintenance service agreements related to the VHF System. Perform deployment and operational support that include the following tasks: Equipment programming. Material tracking in Cascade and Sunflower. Facilitate and coordinate distribution of material to field locations. Coordinate logistics for in-vehicle installations. Coordinate logistics for fixed-mobile base station installations. Provide recommendations in the development and deployment of a portable VHF repeater solution. Participate in the development of off-grid VHF radio site prototype and associated policy modifications. As requested by the Manager/BFTE Team Lead: Provide system engineering support with VHF vendor and other TEC representatives. Provide technical and engineering support to construction, and operations and maintenance personnel as requested. Coordinate with Control Center PSC in the planning, deployment, and operational stages of the VHS System. Draft, prepare, and present project-level communications at Safety meetings and craft training as part of change management. Support the deployment of a new VHF system to test and provide recommendations of the VHS system being deployed. Provide coordination for the deployment and cutover planning for each phase of project with TEC groups. Provide technical support by troubleshooting issues in the field, including user support, and interfacing with the control center for any impacts to them. Draft and prepare detailed network specifications, in conjunction with TEC team members, including diagrams, charts, equipment configurations, and recommended technologies for review, consideration, and acceptance. Support 'Drive Tests' for coverage of the VHF system, as needed. Provide troubleshooting support for technical issues in the field, provide user support, interface with the control center for any impacts to them, and provide ongoing craft training.
