Job description

Responsibilities/ Duties

  • Provide dimensional and final weld inspection to shop drawings
  • Formulate, document and maintain quality control standard and on-going quality control objectives
  • Interpret quality control philosophy to key personnel within the company
  • Provide, and oversee, inspection activity for product throughout production cycle
  • Communicate any performance related issues to the Shop Foreman

Required Education/ Experience

  • Must be current AWS CWI
  • Prefer ASNT and MT level 2 experience
  • Experience inspecting to AWS D1. 1, D1.5
  • Knowledge of blueprints and steel shop fabrication
  • Experience with developing/ documenting procedures
