Key job responsibilities

The Amazon Payment Products team is responsible for several platforms and applications that are used to introduce innovative payment methods to customers. The team is currently working to build a best-in-class experience for our Co-Branded Credit Card in Canada. We are seeking an engineer who is passionate about front-end technologies to become the experience-owner of this entire product.

About the team

The Amazon Payment Products team is responsible for several toolkits and applications that are used to provide innovative payment methods to customers. The team is currently working to build a best-in-class experience for our Credit Card in Canada. We are seeking an engineer who is passionate to become the experience-owner of this entire product.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Vancouver, BC, CAN

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary for this position ranges from $114,800/year up to $191,800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
