Principal, Technical Program Management

Overview:

The AI & Decision Product Enablement Program (AI & DPE) is an internal product suite that enables intelligent decisions for market facing products. This program provides sophisticated, industry-leading intelligence with a range of capabilities that structure and apply complex business logic across the payment journey and beyond to inform and accelerate decisions at scale. This is achieved by leveraging supercomputing capabilities, sophisticated business rules, AI technologies, a streaming big data cluster, high speed in-memory data caching, APIs, & UIs to enrich data and provide real-time decisions.

The Principal Technical Program Manager will focus on initiative delivery, release management, road mapping, dependency and risk management, capacity planning, and stakeholder communications. This role will effectively provide oversight and delivery against our prioritized commitments.

Role and Responsibilities:

• The Principal Technical Program Manager will be responsible for developing strategies to ensure resiliency and stability of technical systems, including creation of contingency plans and risk strategies.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement resiliency measures across AI & DPE

• Leading projects related to resiliency, overseeing the implementation of the technical solutions to enhance overall system reliability

• Continuously assess and improve measures based on industry best practices and emerging technologies

• Developing KPIs to measure areas of improvement and ensure ongoing resiliency.

• Plays an active role in mentoring and recruiting others.

About you

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus across cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

• Use technical judgment to challenge and validate assumptions and enlist Sr. engineering support to vet architecture as require

• Demonstrated success at leading programs with complex technical stacks including business rules engines, high-speed caching capabilities, big data lakes, and AI technologies

• Adept at building consensus and leading resolution of contentious issues across senior leadership or regulatory partners levels

• Expert in an Agile environment and delivery methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Experience with tools such as Aha, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, and DOMO.
