We are looking for a Commercial Sales Representative to help support our Western Canadian operations. They will be responsible for selling the products and services that our customers have grown to rely on. This position will be responsible for identifying prospects, establishing, and enhancing relationships with potential and existing clients, and providing exceptional client service throughout their designated region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the Sales force across the company through implementation of sales methodologies, training and best practices.

  • Identify and document specific Sales goals consistent with the Branch and Regional growth strategies.

  • Direct and coordinate all Sales activities to achieve Branch, Regional and Corporate growth targets.

  • Manage and develop corresponding Sales & Marketing plans and execution efforts to enhance business relationships with current customers.

  • Present proposals to clients and respond to inquiries.

  • Manage Sales cycle to close new business in all products and services offered.

  • Establish relationships with new customers.

  • Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls.

  • Prepare professional, complete, concise, and accurate reports, presentations, proposals, booking packages, and other documentation as required.

  • Keep up to date on industry Sales efforts and programs in the branch territory.

  • Function as a company representative at community and business events or activities.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of Sales experience required.

  • Proven Sales & Marketing executive with vast experience in growing and developing a sales force, preferably in a branch or branch-like environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is required.

  • Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset.

  • Proven organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent oral and written skills to effectively communicate corporate business strategy to all levels within the company.

  • Strong leadership abilities to inspire and coach employees to accomplish strategic goals.

  • Ability to present a professional image and to encourage subordinates to do the same.

  • Ability to create and communicate corporate strategic direction,

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.

  • Strong negotiation and presentations skills.

  • Excellent understanding of the Sales process with the ability to generate leads, close deals and deliver results.

  • Valid driver’s license.
