Job Description:

  • Supports the Supply Chain organization managing larger and/or more complex purchase orders.

  • Prepares requests for quotes/proposals consistent with the requirements of the prime contract.

  • Analyzes suppliers’ proposals, selects or recommends suppliers, negotiates prices, schedules and terms & conditions, awards POs, ensures on-time delivery, verifies delivery, approves payment and maintains necessary records.

  • Procures complex electro-mechanical components, cables and printed wire boards.

  • Frequently meets with internal company and external contacts to represent the organization on specific projects.

  • Develops new sources of supply based on quality product, on-time delivery and competitive pricing.

  • Documents procurements in accordance with Company policy to ensure acceptable internal and government audit results

  • Interacts as a functional representative/subject matter expert internally with management and upper management.

  • Familiar with functional processes, policies and procedures. Interacts with external customers and auditors to provide information.

  • Support supply chain organization and cross-functional requests, and inquiries (i.e., Contracts, Program Management Office (PMO), Business Development (BD), Engineering, Finance, Quality, Operations, Logistics, International Trade Compliance and Regulatory Government Compliance, Accounts Payable (AP).

  • Subject Matter Expert with advanced understanding of production, development, services, repairs and sustainment efforts.

  • Expert at problem solving by leveraging experience and through analysis of data.

    Qualifications:

  • 4-6 Years of knowledge of Supply Chain principles and concepts in defense contracting, including FAR/DFAR.

  • 4-6 Year of experience procuring machined parts, complex electro-mechanical components, cables and PWBs.

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

  • Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with Word, Excel & Outlook.

  • Experience with MRP Tools.

  • High ethical standards

    In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $104,000 - $160,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
