Job Description:

L3Harris is looking for an Integration & Test Integrated Product Team Lead with comprehensive knowledge of Radar Systems and in-depth knowledge of project management.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for the system level integration and/or test, ensuring electrical and physical compatibility to meet program technical, schedule and cost objectives.

  • Responsible for test and/or integration of electromechanical systems from the system design phase through development, documentation, installation and sell-off of the completed system.

  • Integration responsibilities may include development and implementation of integration plans and procedures for hardware, software, and facilities.

  • Responsible for the physical and electrical compatibility of functional interfaces and first article product integration, ensuring seamless interface between the design and production of systems.

  • Testing responsibilities may include requirements analysis for testability issues.

  • Develops and implements system level test programs, plans, specifications, procedures and customer acceptance.

  • Plans and leads test working groups, test readiness reviews. Conducts testability and producibility analyses and reviews.

  • Direct interface with program management, CSE & customer regarding all Integration verification planning

  • Takes direct role at program status meetings, reviews, anomaly investigations & other issues

  • Accountable to the program manager & CSE for top level planning of all assembly & integration and efforts & related verification activities

  • Creates initial, top level test flow & test approach

  • Develops System Level I&T Plans for products and programs

  • Accountable to the program manager & Chief System Engineer for top level planning of all integration and test efforts & related verification activities

  • Collaborates with Systems to define Requirements Verification Matrices (RVMs) which balances capabilities, cost and efficiency of verification (test vs. analysis)

  • Interfaces with all subject matter experts on test implementation strategy

  • Supports and Oversees specific test events related to the overall system and various products

  • Responsible for troubleshooting failures of the tests, based on test plan inputs provided by the SEIT lead and test architect

  • Responsible for completion of specific test configuration details, test procedure development, implementation & checkout of STE, test sets & test set software checkout, analysis tools evaluation

  • May be responsible for TRR planning, execution and follow up actions

  • Responsible to support the directing of test activities, including supporting shift planning

  • Solid understanding of various testing tools and techniques; may be a SME in a particular area of test

  • Identify risks & opportunities for specific test activities

  • Work with and influence system engineering & design on architecture(s) and interfaces to optimize & include test capabilities early in the development life cycle

  • Able to work with systems and design engineering to identify STE/GSE requirements that will satisfy testing requirements, as well as reuse options

  • Evaluate/Define STE requirements (hardware & software) needed for verification of System level requirements

  • Ensure full compliance with L3Harris policies and procedures.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

  • 7+ years experience with using high-speed digital and RF test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscope, logic analyzers, etc.).

  • 7+ years experience in RF or Digital engineering (MW MCAs, FPGAs, CCAs, PWBs, etc.) and troubleshooting techniques, tools, and process.

  • 5+ years experience supporting manufacturing production of electronic devices; preferably in the Radar Systems industry.

  • 3+ years experience as a Technical Team Lead / Integrated Project Team Lead (IPTL).

  • Prior experience generating presentations and briefing internal and external customers.

  • Prior experience executing throughout the full System lifecycle including requirements flow down and allocation, design, development, test, and sell-off.

  • Active US DOD SECRET security clearance

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Prior experience as a cost account manager (CAM) or similar role responsible for managing time and labor budgets.

  • Excellent organization skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a technical information environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Prior experience in Radar Systems or related industry

  • Previous experience supporting DoD/government customers

  • Military Hardware Environmental and Electrical Qualification

  • Familiarity with Mil-STD 810g and Mil-STD 461g Testing and Analysis

  • Experience with OSHA requirements and ESD best practices

    In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $122,500 - $227,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
