1 Summary: Provide maintenance on overhead cranes, mobile equipment, CTL, MBL, Slitter Lines, Banding Lines and other associated plant equipment and facilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. All employees are required to actively support and follow all safety rules and keep work area clean and orderly. Primary Duties include: Perform P.M. program for all equipment. Trouble shoot and repair Automatic Feed CTL Trouble shoot and repair Stamco Slitting lines and Packaging line. Trouble shoot and repair Strilich MBL. Trouble shoot and repair P&H overhead cranes and scales. Weld items, construct/fabricate projects as required. Design equipment modifications and install on a limited scope. Recommend and generate request to order spare parts. Trouble shoot and repair mobile equipment, forklift trucks, railroad car mover and other equipment. Monitor spare parts inventory through MP2 system. Monitor and repair plant utilities. Housekeeping of maintenance storage areas and maintenance cage. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or equivalency Skills and Abilities Five years of experience in maintenance Journeyman card preferred or relevant experience Knowledge with Allen-Bradley programmable controllers and Reliance programmable controllers Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk continuously, bend, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. Repetitive grasping of parts or utilizing air guns requires grip strength of 50 pounds. Good vision is required to inspect work. This position requires continuous mental and visual attention to operate machinery involving repetitive or diversified work which requires constant alertness or activity. Work Environment This position will perform work in a plant environment.
