What You’ll Do

Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all building systems, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained and in good working order. They resolve issues that arise with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and property. Also provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and direction to facilities and maintenance staff.

  • Responsible for all facility and facility equipment upkeep

  • Assign work orders for both preventative and reactive work to mechanics

  • Maintains CMMS system for assets, MRO inventory, PMs, and work orders

  • Coordinates contractor repairs to HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, electrical, and facility repairs

  • Responsible for all building services including janitorial, trash, recycling, office services, and others

  • Provide information to aid in repair vs. replace decision making.

  • Make recommendations for annual budgetary and capital planning.

  • Responsible for approving daily time and attendance

  • Responsible for goal setting for staff

  • Assists management with special projects

  • Other duties as assigned

Who You Are

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

  • Positive attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Working knowledge of a variety of manual trades such as: electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, etc. and applicable tools/ equipment

  • Solid understanding of facilities operations including, utility distribution, electrical distribution, building automation, security, fire protection, life safety, and HVAC systems and equipment

  • Good problem solving skills

  • AutoCAD experience is a plus

  • Ability to read blueprints, electrical and plumbing schematics

Experience/Educational Requirements:

  • HS diploma or equivalent, associate degree from an accredited technical college/university preferred

  • Three to five years of leadership experience

  • Five to seven years of experience in the Facilities Maintenance Field
