Sutter Health Clinical Effectiveness Consultant in Vallejo, California
To develop and coordinate components of the Sutter Health's Performance Improvement (PI) Program.To facilitate improvement activities utilizing PI methodologies, and to serve as a resource to assist and train others on performance improvement methodologies and evidence-based patient safety and quality initiatives.To provide all levels of management, physicians, and clinical staff with accurate and timely information for effective decision making utilizing internal and external decision support systems.
Master's in healthcare related field is preferred.
Bachelor's in Nursing or related field is required.
Licensures and Certifications
Certified Professional Healthcare Quality RN: CPHQ is preferred.
Valid CA Driver License is required.
Performance improvement certifications preferred: Leans, Six Sigma, Green or Black Belt is desired.
CA Registered Nurse within 1 year of hire is required.
Licensed Pharmacist - PHARMD is preferred.
3 years experience in a healthcare outcomes and performance improvement initiatives.
Experience in licensing/accreditation compliance and survey preparation.
Skills and Knowledge
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required. Ability to format tables, retrieve data via queries and create presentations via power point.
Must demonstrate excellent written/verbal interpersonal communication and problem solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of personalities and departments, including medical staff members.
Ability to manage own time and schedule own tasks. Must have initiative to work effectively without constant supervision and direction.
