The incumbent will:

  • Conduct orientation of new students to the affiliate site;

  • Supervise students at affiliate site, including verification of attendance records and case logs;

  • Maintain a schedule of student assignments at affiliate site;

  • Evaluate students on radiographic procedures and document levels of competency;

  • Provide image critique sessions (select exams performed by students);

  • Monitor student progress and regularly meet with students for conferencing/evaluation;

  • Participate in department meetings;

  • Compile data and prepare periodic reports, as required;

  • Arrange and conduct supplementary instructional activities, including regular image critique sessions;

  • Participate in in-service training and other departmental meetings, including accreditation activities;

  • Perform related administrative and clerical tasks when appropriate;

  • All other duties, as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must possess the following:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree;

  • A current credential in Radiologic Technology with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists;

  • A current license by the New York State Department of Health in Radiologic Technology.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of practical experience strongly preferred.

Additional Information:

HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $82.57 per hour. No benefits.

POSITION EFFECTIVE: Spring 2022
