What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

General Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a support to our customers by facilitating communication between L.A. Turbine and our customers for any customer related issues.

  • Coordinate responses to customer queries from appropriate internal stakeholders to ensure the customer’s expectations are met.

  • Contact customers regularly in coordination with L.A. Turbine’s sales team to remain informed of developments, and anticipate potential issues.

  • Records customer related interactions in L.A. Turbine’s customer relationship management software.

  • Maintain regular contact with the customer and members of L.A. Turbine team to ensure the concerns are continually addressed by the organization.

  • Investigate issues thoroughly and maintain a global overview of the entire customer experience.

  • Prepare reports, as necessary, to management regarding regional activities and individual customer concerns.

  • Work with various departments to accommodate customer visits scheduling and arranging and facilitating meetings with the appropriate Engineers, Project managers, etc.

  • Monitor customer satisfaction and encourage prompt action and resolution by responsible departments on all customer issues (Finance, Warranty, Parts Logistics, Publications, Technical Services and Training).

Coordinate Customer Qualifications:

  • Gather information for qualifications allowing LAT to provide products and services.

  • Must be aware of entire business operation and processes including Safety, Quality, Capacity, Equipment, Sales Experience, Capabilities, etc.

  • Maintain Insurances and coordinate to get additional insured as needed.

  • Admin for all Master Service Agreements / Master Product Agreements

  • Maintain company access to various customer and client related websites / systems. Example: SAP Business Network / Ariba

  • Obtain Certificate of Origin from Chamber of Commerce, California State Department, US Department of State and various foreign embassies (in some cases)

ERP / MRP Software Use (JD Edwards) :

  • Customer Set up - Bill to, Ship to, Credit applications.

  • Entry of Sales Quotes, Sales Orders and processing

  • Associate degree in business

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

  • This position primarily works in an office setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, stand, and walk. On occasion, the employee may bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb a ladder.

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ work experience with sales, customer support or account management. Experience with manufacturing, engineering and/or industrial equipment is a plus.

  • Gather, analyze and resolve problems efficiently.

  • Ability to display a high level of initiative, effort and commitment towards completing assignment efficiently and within a timely manner.

  • Consistently perform all job responsibilities at a satisfactory level

  • Organization and multi-tasking are a priority.

  • Proactive, helpful, and can-do approach

  • Demonstrates professionalism and attention to detail.

  • Strong Outlook and MS office skills with an emphasis on excel.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

  • Must be capable of working independently with little general supervision.
